Your younited trainers and helmsmen welcome you at the shore and set the scene for the dragon boat adventure. Excitement builds as you get your first look at the boats.
You learn proper paddling technique, receive your life jackets, and learn everything important about the dragon boats. A few dry exercises on shore ensure you are perfectly prepared.
Out on the water! You test paddling techniques, find your shared rhythm, and enjoy the natural landscape with motivating drumbeats. With each round, you gel more as a crew and the boat glides ever more powerfully across the waves.
All teams compete against each other in a thrilling dragon boat regatta. Now every paddle stroke counts! Cheers from the shore and the drum rhythm push you to peak performance.
On shore, the winning teams are celebrated and all crews come together one last time. A shared conclusion rounds off your water experience and makes the day complete.

Swimming ability is recommended but not strictly required. All participants wear professional life jackets. The boats are very stable and practically never capsize.
Light rain is no problem for dragon boating and can even add to the fun. In case of severe thunderstorms or storms, the event is postponed. Optionally, you can book an indoor alternative programme.
Wave Rider works for 15 to 500 participants. A dragon boat typically holds 10-20 paddlers. For larger groups, we deploy more boats accordingly.
Wear sporty clothes that can get wet and sturdy shoes (ideally trainers that can go in the water). A change of clothes is recommended. We provide life jackets and sunscreen.
