Among narrow channels, ancient trees and mirror-like water, your journey begins through a landscape that has been full of stories and legends for centuries. Sunbeams break through the leafy canopy, mist drifts between the branching waterways, and somewhere amid the reeds and dark reflections, the Vodnik watches you – the mysterious water spirit of the Spreewald.
Together you’ll navigate your boats through the Spreewald’s vast, branching network of canals. Along the way, small trials, riddles, team challenges and captivating tales await – about the region’s nature, history and Sorbian legends.
But beware: the Vodnik tests not only your knowledge, but also your team spirit. Only those who work together, stay attentive and respect the waterways may continue their journey safely.

How Spreewald Adventure works
A well-thought-out schedule ensures optimal team dynamics
Right at the waterside starting point, the team welcomes you and sets the mood for the adventure. The kayaks are ready and the picturesque surroundings instantly lift the spirits.
You receive life jackets, GPS devices and the roadbook with your route. Our guide explains paddling technique and safety rules – everything is easy to follow, even for complete beginners.
Off you go through the branching canals of the Spreewald! You pass through locks, tackle small rapids and solve team challenges on land and water. Between challenges there is plenty of time to enjoy the stunning nature and simply soak in the moment.
Back on shore, the results are reviewed and the best teams are recognized. With all the stories and anecdotes, it becomes clear just how much you experienced together.
One last look at the canals, then you say your goodbyes. With wet shoes, big grins and the best company outing in a long time packed in your memories.

No, no prior experience is needed. You’ll receive a thorough briefing, and the route is manageable for beginners. The kayaks are stable and easy to steer.
Safety is our top priority. Life jackets are mandatory and included. Our guides accompany you along the route and are always reachable.
Rain ponchos are included – a light rain even makes the adventure more exciting. In truly adverse conditions, we can switch to an indoor alternative program.
We typically use two-person or three-person kayaks. The exact arrangement is discussed based on group size during consultation.
A few splashes are part of the fun! We recommend bringing a change of clothes and sturdy shoes that can get wet.
