Feel the need for speed! At kistenflitzer, you build your own racing car from real parts as a team – and found your own racing team while you’re at it. Manual skills, creative ideas, and above all teamwork are required, because all parts must be used.
After construction comes the highlight: the big soapbox race. On a marked-out track, your self-built cars compete against each other. Who has the fastest car? Who has the most original design? An event that combines craftsmanship, teamwork, and pure fun.

How kistenflitzer works
A well-thought-out schedule ensures optimal team dynamics
Your event leader greets you at the venue and gives you a first look at the building parts. The boxes with wheels, boards and tools instantly awaken the inner tinkerer.
You learn the building rules, get to know the materials and are split into teams. Each team receives an identical kit – what you make of it is entirely up to you.
First you build your soapbox car as a team – assembling, decorating, testing. Then comes the highlight: the big race on the marked-out track. Cheered on by all the spectators, it's all about speed, stability and the coolest look. In the end, it's not just pace that counts but also creativity and teamwork.
The fastest, most creative and best-collaborating group is awarded. During the ceremony, pride and humor come together – because the best mishap moments are also celebrated.
After one last round of applause and group photos, you say your goodbyes. We handle the teardown – you just take the memories and event photos with you.

No! The building instructions are clear, and our team helps you if needed. It’s about tinkering together – not perfection.
Yes, safety is our top priority. The track is secured by us, and the soapbox cars are designed to ensure safe driving. Safety equipment is included.
Rain ponchos are already included. You can optionally book team tents or switch to an indoor alternative program – so we can pivot spontaneously if needed.
We need a flat area for building and a slightly sloped or flat track for the race. During the consultation, we’ll help you find a suitable location.
The building parts are part of our equipment and are dismantled after the event. But the memories and event photos are yours to keep!
Für dieses Event werden ca. 5 m² pro Teilnehmer benötigt. Bei 15 Teilnehmern wären das beispielsweise rund 75 m². Die genaue Fläche kann je nach Aufbau und Location variieren – wir beraten euch gerne individuell.
