How Highländer works
A well-thought-out schedule ensures optimal team dynamics
Our team welcomes you in proper style with bagpipe music and sets the mood for the Highland Games. The atmosphere is instantly palpable: this is about honor, team spirit, and loads of fun. Welcome to the Scottish Highlands – right here in Germany.
You'll be divided into clans and receive your face paint and clan banner. Our trainers introduce the disciplines and explain safety rules so you can focus fully on the competition. Each clan already starts hatching their first tactical plans.
Onto the competition ground! In disciplines like archery, axe throwing, Arrowtag, farmer's walk, tree slalom, weight throw, piggyback race, and tug of war, you show what your clan is made of. The stations alternate between strength, skill, and pure teamwork so everyone can truly contribute their strengths.
All clans gather and points are tallied. The victorious clan is celebrated with due pomp and proper bagpipe accompaniment. A finale that seals clan honor for eternity.
Group photo in clan gear and a ceremonial close to the Highland Games. Feel free to keep the face paint on a little longer – as a memento of a legendary day.

Light rain is part of Scotland – rain ponchos are included. In extreme weather, you can switch to an indoor alternative program.
Absolutely! All disciplines are professionally guided and supervised by our team. Safety is the top priority, and no prior experience is needed.
Yes! Accompanying bagpipe music is included and provides authentic Highland atmosphere throughout the entire event.
