How Drumunity works
A well-thought-out schedule ensures optimal team dynamics
Your musical director welcomes you and lets you arrive in the world of drumming. The instruments are already laid out, and curiosity is instantly sparked.
You get to know the different instruments – from the powerful djembe to small percussion elements. The director shows you the first basic strokes, and within just a few minutes everyone dares to try their instrument.
Starting from simple rhythms, you build up step by step. You listen to each other, react to one another and develop a sound together that gets under your skin. The highlight: at the end, you compose your very own drumming piece – something that has never existed before.
Your jointly composed piece is played one more time at full volume – a goosebump moment. This is followed by a ceremonial acknowledgement of your performance as a team.
The shared rhythm still resonates as you wind down the evening. Everyone takes this experience home – in their mind, their body and their sense of team.

No, absolutely not! Drumunity is designed so that no musical experience is needed. The musical director guides you step by step – from simple rhythms to the finished piece.
There’s a colorful mix of drums (e.g. djembes, congas) and various additional instruments. Everyone gets an instrument that contributes to the overall sound.
It’s rhythmic but not unpleasant. The director controls the dynamics. Still, a room where volume isn’t an issue is recommended – we’re happy to advise on venue selection.
No, Drumunity is intentionally designed as a cooperative event. Everyone works together on one piece of music. It’s about togetherness, not competition.
Drumunity works from about 10 people and is also suitable for larger groups. We adapt the instrument selection and guidance to the group size.
Für dieses Event werden ca. 1,5 m² pro Teilnehmer benötigt. Bei 10 Teilnehmern wären das beispielsweise rund 15 m². Die genaue Fläche kann je nach Aufbau und Location variieren – wir beraten euch gerne individuell.
